中秋之夜,圆月当空，凉意渗透进窗棂，我坐在书桌前，望着那轮圆月，思绪万千，中秋节，这个团圆的节日，总让我想起家，想起那些温暖的时光。
记得小时候,中秋节是我最期待的节日之一，每到那时，家里总会包很多 moon buns（月饼），妈妈会把面粉和水调成面团，揉成一个个圆圆的面块，再擀成薄薄的皮，她会把糖浆倒进模具里，轻轻一按，一个圆润的 moon bun 就诞生了，我最喜欢吃的是花生碎包进去的那个，咬一口，花生的香甜和面粉的酥脆混合在一起，真是让人回味无穷。
今年的中秋,我依然和家人在一起，爸爸 preferring to work on the weekend, so I spent the evening with my mother and sister. We sat on the balcony, enjoying the cool breeze. The moon was full, and it cast a soft glow over the garden. My mother would tell stories to my sister, and we would listen, our hearts full of warmth.
I also remember the moonlight reflecting on the water in the garden pond. It looked like a mirror, catching the stars above. I closed my eyes and tried to imagine what the ancestors would say to me if they could. They would probably tell me to cherish my family and friends, to be kind and honest.
The moonlight also made me think about the mooncakes we eat. They are not just a treat, but a symbol of love and unity. Each bite of the mooncake brings a sense of comfort and joy. I hold them in my hands, feeling the softness of the wrapper, and I know that this is a special moment for my family.
As I look at the moon, I realize that this is the time when we should be together, not apart. The moonlight reminds me of the importance of family and the love that connects us. I thank the ancestors for their guidance and protection, and I promise to make the most of this中秋.
