Today was my first day of军训. I felt a bit nervous but also excited. The thought of standing in front of the mirror, holding a tray of food, and smiling at my reflection made me a little nervous. But I also knew that this was a great opportunity to learn and grow.
At 7:30 AM, we all gathered in the school playground. The morning was cool, but the air was still a bit stuffy. The first thing we did was line up in the heat of the morning sun. It was a bit tiring, but I managed to keep up with the others. The teacher explained the basic rules of the drill, like how to stand in a straight line and hold a tray of food. I was a bit confused at first, but the teacher was very patient and helped us understand everything.
After lunch, we went back to the field and started doing some more drills. The first thing we did was practice standing in a straight line. It was a bit challenging, but I think I managed to keep my balance. Then we had to hold a tray of food and smile at our reflection in the mirror. I was a bit nervous, but I tried my best. The teacher was always encouraging us to be confident and do our best.
In the afternoon, we did more drills, like walking in a circle and doing the alphabet. It was a bit fun, but also a bit tiring. I think I did pretty well, but I could definitely use a nap later. The teacher was always checking on us, making sure we were doing everything correctly. I think she was very strict, but also very caring.
As the day went on, I realized how much I had learned. I had to stand in a straight line for hours, hold a tray of food, and smile at my reflection. It was a bit hard at first, but I think I got the hang of it. I also realized how much work and effort goes into being a good soldier or a soldier-like person.
I think the most important thing I learned today was to be confident and do my best. I also learned to respect everyone else and not get too competitive. It was a great first day of军训, and I can't wait to see what tomorrow brings.
